I think next to Meralyn is Joy Martin and on the end is Mary Ann Rodgers.  On the bottom is Mary Hodges.

In the ’66 photo, I recognize:  first row left to right – Dee Wyrick, Shirley Eller, ?, ?;  Second row left to right – Gayle Tillman, Meralyn Moore, ?, maybe Gayle Gettinger & ?.

My apologies to anyone I’ve mis-named or couldn’t remember.

Gayle Tillman graduated from GA in '67.  So I doubt she was in the JM cheerleading squad in '66.

Hey, Everyone.

I haven't responded to any of the emails.  But, I have really enjoyed reading them.

I think the last one on the back row is Cynthia Meeler?

Yes!  Nick's was part of Glynn Academy!  They had the greatest fountain cokes.  I think they had the cherry also so that you could make cherry cokes.  Someone help with this one.  I may be mixing up the cherry coke with somewhere else.

Kenny back to Bob
Hey Bob,

I can’t help it if she looks like Gayle.  Maybe it’s her sister.  Somebody PLEASE step in and identify this pretty lady!!

And Bob back to Kenny

You are right, she does look like Gayle.  Gayle is my step sister, so I remember her being a senior my first year at Glynn Academy.  And yes, that means Bertha Tillman, the Typing Teacher that everyone loved so dearly was my step mother. I don't think Gayle's sisters were cheer leaders, so someone else will have to help identify her.  Since I was not at JM I can't be of much more help.

By the way I appreciate the sharing of the Jane Macon Cheerleaders. My granddaughter cheers at Jane Macon now and the girls got a real kick out of seeing the '66 cheerleaders. My how the uniforms and hair have changed..........

I agree with you Karen, how times have changed. Those gym suits were terrible and I could see my granddaughter now. She would be kicked off the cheer squad if she had to wear such a thing. Do I
remember Ms. Swastz called us by our last name, and I think  we put on our last name on gym suit. Maybe that was GA???
